In light of the ongoing developments of the situation relating to the Coronavirus, Film & Foil Solutions have taken all necessary precautions to best protect the health and wellbeing of its employees, customers and partners, and to prevent as much disruption to its supply chain and normal service.
We would like to share the following initiatives and safeguards that have taken place to date:
Introduction of new operating practices to our production facility and areas Strict pre – visit procedures for any visitors to any of our offices or production facilities Strict staff reporting procedure A supply chain task force to monitor shipping issues from different geographic locations
Although the geographical effects of the Coronavirus continue to be fluid, we can confirm that our materials do not originate from any of the following countries that are more severely affected:
- China
- Italy
- Iran
- Korea
- Japan
- Thailand
In addition, we would like to assure you that our UK stock levels are currently stable, and we continue to hold the largest stocks of Flexible Packaging Films and Print Lamination Films in the UK. We continue to monitor the risks and issues associated with shipping in different parts of the world and to take action to ensure all our customers are not affected by any material supply issues.Whilst we are confident that we have taken appropriate measures to ensure our operations and services are not wholly impacted, we do continue to have discussions with customers who feel they need to mitigate any risk by laying down extended stock quantities and we are open to these discussions.It is our intention to provide regular updates to customers and do our upmost to provide some comfort regarding our continuity of supply throughout this evolving situation.
